Better Organic Business Links The Better Organic Business Links (BOBL) project works to support organic businesses across Wales to improve their profitability, sustainability and community engagement. BOBL incorporates a range of activities such as training, consumer and community engagement, educational visits and producer supply chain projects. Background: BOBL began in 2009 and was awarded £2 million of funding from the Supply Chain Efficiencies Scheme, as part of the Welsh Government Rural Development Plan for 2007-2013. BOBL works in partnership with a number of key industry specialists. These include organic businesses, the OCW partners: ADAS, The Organic Research Centre and IBERS, Aberystwyth University, in addition BOBL also collaborates with specialist consultancies.
