Media Training

Working with broadcast and social media 19 Feb 2013 09:30

OCW is delivering a Media Training day for organic businesses on the 19th February 2013. There is no charge for the training which is being provided as part of the BOBL project.

This course is a rare chance to work with professional news broadcasters and will give you the confidence to make the most of media opportunities. The intense day includes sessions on developing the messages you want to communicate and practice interviews. The afternoon includes an overview on using Facebook and Twitter, without spending your life online, and why they can help your business develop.

Emily Davies, Capestone Organic Poultry:
'I found the training course to be particularly beneficial. I wasn't sure what to expect at first however by the end of the day I had developed my public speaking skills and media techniques and it was a real confidence boost.'

Location: Penpont, Brecon LD3 8EU.
