Food Waste Forum

The organization 'This is Rubbish' is to host a Food Waste Forum and Feast at The Centre for Alternative Technology on Saturday 5th November. During the day there will be a mixture of workshops, discussions, films and an exhibition, looking at the causes and solutions of food waste.

Speakers will include Dr Andy Rees; Head of Waste Strategy, Welsh Assembly Government; Dr Adrian Morley; Research Associate at Business Relationship, Accountability, Sustainability and Society (BRASS); Emma Marsh, Head of WRAP's Love Food Hate Waste campaign; and Professor Martin Caraher, Reader in Food and Health Policy at City University. In the evening there will be a Feast made from food that otherwise would have been wasted. Places are limited and advance booking is necessary, via www.thisisrubbish.org.uk.
