Welsh Grain Forum Field trip, 16 June

This event is for anyone who is interested in growing and using Welsh grain for food and drink rather than animal feed. It aims to build relationships between growers, millers, bakers, brewers and distillers and to help the different businesses in the supply chain understand one another better. Roger Bufton, who grows 50 ha of organic cereals near Crickhowell, will talk about his experiences of growing milling wheat varieties, and the opportunities to grow other grains such as malting barley and rye. Gez Richards give us a tour of Talgarth Mill, leading on to discussions about using more Welsh grain. For more information and to book a place contact: on 01970 621632.
