Why I Love Organic

The Organic Trade Board campaign is now entering its second month and has launched a website to support the campaign. To learn more and check on progress visit: campaign has been funded by donations from organic producers who have pledged over £300,000 a year for three years.The OTB is applying for match funding from the EU which would double the funds available to promote organic produce.
The campaign will communicate the benefits and values of organic food to heavyweight purchasers and give them reassurance through more reasons other than well-being for choosing organic produce.'Dabblers' will be provided with reasons to purchase organic produce by keeping the messages front of mind, and stakeholders farmers, producers, distributors, accreditation organisations, etc will be kept on board by establishing a consistent platform.

Activity will include an intensive media relations campaign to reassure and educate the target audience on the benefits of organic produce. The campaign will focus on the current attitudes to organic produce based on bespoke research. Influencers will be used to stimulate debate with blogger outreach by seeding content. The objective is to fuel the organic debate on-line and harness social media applications such as Twitter and Facebook.
