Growing fruit in Wales

Dyfi Valley Seed Savers have published the results of a survey of Powys orchards, conducted in response to demand for knowledge on fruit growing in Wales. In 2009 and 2010 they surveyed 22 orchards and gathered the experiences of fruit growers from all over the county. The report includes advice on planning an orchard, recommended apple, pear and plum varieties, case studies, information on grants, advice on earning an income from fruit growing and a list of resources.
