Ragwort control

The Welsh Assembly Government is warning farmers that common ragwort (Senecio jacobaea) is highly poisonous to livestock and that it is vital that its spread is controlled in areas where it is a threat to the health and welfare of animals. Guidance can be found in theCode of Practice to Prevent and Control the Spread of Ragwort. Control methods appropriate for organic farmers are described in paragraphs 108-129.
