Consumers ‘oblivious to welfare’

Freedom Food’s Chief Executive has claimed that most consumers have little idea about the lives led by the animals which go into the food they buy. The RSPCA has launched a new campaign called ‘Think Pig’ and is asking people to only buy higher welfare pork products displaying the Freedom Food logo or those labelled outdoor bred or reared, free range or organic.
