Organic Farmers who hold an Organic Farming Scheme/Organic Farming Conversion Scheme contract are reminded that they must submit their claim for the Establishment Payment by 4 March 2011. Farmers need to be aware that payment cannot be made until all supporting information, i.e. invoices and bank statements, have been provided.
Farmers who are concerned about disclosing personal information on their bank statements, need to be aware that they can take a copy of their bank statement into their Divisional Office, together with the original, and blank out any information not required for our records on the copy. Officials can then verify the copy of the statement allowing the farmer to take the original away with them.
