Organic Farming Scheme – update Dec 09

Those that made applications in the September window should by now have heard from the Welsh Assembly Government. Important: if you have been offered an agreement you must accept in writing by 15 December (Tuesday) or the offer will be withdrawn. The scheme being offered is now a 5-year scheme, with options to join Glastir.
Those farmers whose certificates expire or have expired before the end of January are reminded to provide their replacement certificate to WAG to enable payments in January to be made. These can only be made if the WAG has had sight of a valid certificate for that period.
