End to culling of dairy bull calves

From 1 January 2010 the Soil Association has changed its calf welfare standards. Any producers who are still culling dairy bred bull calves are required to put in place a clear plan (with timescales) to end this practice. The standards also prohibit calves from organic farms going for export, unless for breeding purposes.
