Soft fruit in the uplands

Welsh Fruit Stocks have been selling soft fruit plants from their farm at 1000ft near Kington, Powys, since 1991, and have been organic since 2000. Last year, the farm grew some 15,000 blackcurrant, white currant, redcurrant, gooseberry and jostaberry (a gooseberry- blackcurrant hybrid) bushes, 40,000 raspberry canes and 130,000 strawberry plants.
