Organic farmer appointed to the DairyCo board

The Agricultural and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) has appointed three members to its DairyCo board.

Dairy farmers Janette Prince, David Cotton and Tim Gue will join Chairman Tim Bennett and the eight existing board members to develop strategies that determine the direction of the AHDB’s milk division and provide a clear vision for all DairyCo activities that benefit GB dairy farmers.

"I’m sure that they will provide a valuable contribution to the work that we do and I, along with the existing members of the board, look forward to working with them" said Bennett.

Prince has an organic dairy herd of just under 90 Holstein Friesian cows and followers on 156 acres in Staffordshire. She is vice chairman of the Uttoxeter and District NFU, and is currently also involved with the Staffordshire Federation of Young Farmers next to that Janette is also a YFC County Vice President. darllen mwy
