Better Organic Business Links![]() The Better Organic Business Links (BOBL) project was set up to support organic businesses across Wales to improve their profitability, sustainability and community engagement. BOBL delivered a range of activities such as training, consumer and community engagement, educational visits and producer supply chain projects. Background: BOBL began in 2009 and was awarded £2 million of funding from the Supply Chain Efficiencies Scheme, as part of the Welsh Government Rural Development Plan for 2007-2013 and was extended for an additional two years. It concluded on 31 August 2015. BOBL worked in partnership with a number of key industry specialists. These included organic businesses, the OCW partners: ADAS, The Organic Research Centre and IBERS, Aberystwyth University, in addition BOBL collaborated with specialist consultancies to support the development of the organic sector in Wales.
