The Better Organic Business Links project had a stand at the Gwledd Conwy Feast on 23 and 24 October.
Visitors to the stand were able to see at first hand what the BOBL project is aiming to achieve over the next three years.
Dafydd Owen Project Manager said “Producers and processors were able to get information on activities and initiatives relevant to their business, including a copy of the new Beaufort Research report into Consumer Attitudes to organic products. We also have a number of initiatives which are relevant to schools and community groups. These include our support for organic meals in schools and an exciting new initiative, Sustainable Food Communities. Sustainable Food Communities will extend the Soil Association’s Food for Life programme into Wales and includes support for local food initiatives.”
Activities at the stand included carrot tasting and a treasure hunt for children.
