CAP reform consultation – Get involved

Alun Davies, the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and European Programmes, has extended an invitation to the Welsh public to comment on Common Agriculture Policy (CAP) reform and published a discussion paper to stimulate the debate.

Tony Little from Organic Centre Wales said ‘As farmers, you don’t need me to tell you how important this is. Everyone, has got to get involved if organic producers are to get the support and recognition they deserve. OCW will, of course, comment and we welcome all contributions from farmers to help us do that better. However it is vital that you also work through the Unions, who represent you officially, and respond to paper as individuals.’
