Royal Welsh Visitors make and taste organic, naturally different food

The Organic Centre Wales team had a fantastic time in the new Food and Drink Wales exhibit at the Royal Welsh Show, 22-25th July in Builth Wells, connecting consumers directly with great organic food.

Across the week visitors got the chance to taste a different delicious recipe every day featuring produce from across the full range of organic sectors; meat, dairy, poultry and fruit and veg. This fresh local produce was sourced from Organic Centre wales recently announced ‘Organic Champions’ and cooked by ‘Champion Chef’ Roger Stevens. Every day the audience got the chance to hear from the producers themselves on how and why they farm organically.

Additionally visitors of all ages were able to get hands-on with organic food by taking part in organic apple pressing or organic butter churning… tasting the delicious fruits of their labour on the day!
